Corporate Finance Manager

General Responsibilities

Review financial data & operations of Sub Business Units and present Monthly Financial Report to Board of Directors. Monitor the financial operations within the company, such as payroll and other transactions. Prepare Consolidated Financial Report and report to Financial Controller.

Role and Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are to
·       Participate Business Plan Meeting & review Business Plan of assigned Sub Business Units

·       Analyze costs, variable contributions, revenue results and the assigned SBU’s actual performance compared to the business plan

  • Liaise with all parties from assigned SBU involved in forecast pipe line projects and prepare projected Profit & Loss statement (Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly) and present to BOD

·       Review & Analyze Monthly Financial Report from assigned SBUs and present to BOD

·       Participate Quarterly review meeting of assigned SBUs

·       Prepare costing for investment Projects (Thilawar etc;) if needed and present to BOD

·       Review & Analyze Financial Report of Investment Co., (NEW DAY CO., LTD, TLPC) & present to BODs

·       Prepare detail Profit & Loss analysis report & detail costing for Investment & JV Co., (NEW DAY CO., LTD, TLPC, Excellent Myanmar) if it’s needed.

·       Provide Consolidated/ Group Financial Report and interpret to Financial Controller

·       Monitor the financial operations within the company, such as payroll and other transactions.

·       Manage Overseas Banks Balance & transactions and report to Financial Controller

·       Monitor & update Shareholder loan balance with SBUs and do monthly reconciling

·       Prepare yearly Intercompany Term Loan Agreements with SBUs

·       Assist to Financial Controller for preparation of Financial Policy, Financial Plan, Budgeting & Reports

·       Perform other duties assigned by Financial Controller & BOD

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Experience and Education:

  • B.Com/CPA or Any Graduate with ACCA Profession

  • Must have at least (8-10) years’ experience in related field with (3) years’ experience as Finance Manager role

Knowledge and Skills:

·       Ability to work under pressure and complete job assignments in an accurate and timely manner

·       Fluency in English

·       Proficient in PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·       Proficient user of Finance & Accounting Software

·       Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

·       A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles (IAS/ IFRS)

 Preferred Skills

·       Proficient user of ERP Software

  • Have knowledge Myanmar Tax & Law
