Daw Aye Thida Thet

Daw Aye Thida Thet is an accomplished professional in the field of human resources management with more than 20 years of experience. As the role of general manager at the Corporate Human Resources Dept., IGE Group, she is responsible for the development and implementation of IGE’s human resources policies and processes as well as ensuring alignment of HR strategies with the Group’s strategic business objectives until 2018. Currently, she is taking full responsibility for the Company Secretarial Department with the efficient administration of a company, particularly concerning ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure the decisions of the board of directors are implemented. Daw Aye Thida Thet has joined IGE since the year 2013.

Daw Aye Thida Thet began her career in human resources management in the 1996s when she worked her way through the ranks in international five-star hotels such as the Summit Parkview Hotel and Seasons of Yangon (previously known as Ramada Hotel). Following a management position with New Max Myanmar Import & Export Co., Ltd, she joined the IBTC Group and worked continued her path in human resource management as a department manager.

Daw Aye Thida Thet holds a certificate in Human Resource Management from the Hotel Association in cooperation with the Singapore Tourist Promotion Board, Executive Diploma in Human Resource Management from the RV Management School, Certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management from NUS Business School, National University of Singapore, Mini HR Organization Development certificate from Assumption University form Thailand, certified in Basic Diplomatic Skills- BDS 21/2009 from Myanmar Ministry of Foreign Affairs and she also received a series of certificates in management development from reputable institutions including IBTC, LITHAN, and MIoD.
