Daw Thida

Daw Thida is an accomplished businesswoman with more than 20 years of experience in the private sector. As Managing Director of CMC, Daw Thida is responsible for overseeing all business operations, departments, budgets and business development opportunities. Daw Thida joined IGE Group in 2007 and has worked across the corporation in a variety of roles, enhancing her knowledge of business operations and management skills. After two years as Assistant Manager in the Executive Office, Daw Thida was promoted to Logistics Department Manager and then Deputy General Manager at UNOG Trading. In 2014 she transferred to CMC, where she has risen from Deputy General Manager to Managing Director.

Daw Thida began her career as an Inspector for Myanmar Daewoo Intl., Ltd. This was followed by almost ten years as the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director of ECI Minerals Private Ltd. Daw Thida has also held various roles in the tourism industry. Daw Thida holds a BSc in Zoology from the University of Distance Education in Yangon.
